Yield Burst™ Technology in Multiple Products

Yield Burst technology can help increase yield potential
Federated Co-ops recommends a variety of adjuvant packages that feature the Yield Burst™ technology developed by Rosen’s, Inc. These products help reduce stress and increase yield potential.

As you make plans for the 2025 season, look at these products that each feature Yield Burst technology. Consider how they can fit with your crop management plans. (General information provided by Dale Hanson of Rosen’s.)

Adjuvants
Enlivenan “industry 1st" yield-increasing adjuvant that delivers premium deposition technology, superior water conditioning and ultra efficient surfactant package. It includes:
  • improved deposition and coverage;
  • AMS-based water conditioning;
  • “ultra efficient” surfactant package for increased coverage and cuticle penetration.
Mike Slater, Federated’s ag sales rep in Isanti, noted that Enliven is easy to use and convenient; “it is a premium all-in-one adjuvant.” Depending on your particular scenario, it may be all you need in a tank mix.

Stallion – an “innovative” adjuvant that combines Yield Burst Technology, HPG Technology, high–quality MSO and a multi-functional surfactant blend. It provides:
  • increased energy to the plant;
  • “ultra efficient” surfactant package for increased coverage and cuticle penetration;
  • “industry standard” deposition, retention and coverage technology.
Slater noted that Stallion is an “excellent product to use in place of Enliven with herbicides calling for an MSO.”

Mach 5 a “revolutionary” adjuvant system with Yield Burst Technology, HPG Technology. Surfactants, and water conditioners specifically designed for aerial applications (i.e., planes, helicopters, drones). It offers:
  • “any crop timing” on applications of fungicides and insecticides;
  • increased energy to the plant;
  • a “ultra efficient” surfactant package for increased coverage, wetting/spreading, humectancy, and cuticle penetration;
  • “industry standard” deposition, retention and coverage technology;
  • AMS-based water conditioning properties.
 Yield Burst technology is also available in several nutritional products from the Rosen’s product line.

Nutrition
USA 500 – provides EDTA chelated Zinc and a phosphate protectant to keep the phosphorous in your starter from getting tied up in the soil before the plant needs it. (See related article.)

Maneuver – a newer product that adds in three nitrogen fixer microbes on top of nine solubolizers and mineralizers. It is an dry formula that can be added to starter fertilizers or sprayed directly on the soil.

Legend Elite – a foliar feeding product that provides essential nutrients and can be applied with pesticide applications (though Slater recommends a jar test first). Legend Elite is similar to VersaMax AC but with the addition of Yield Burst technology to help with stress mitigation.

Taurus Sulfur a low use Yield Burst technology sulfur product that can be applied in multiple ways: foliar, side-dressed, or 2 x 2 with the planter. Taurus Sulfur is in sulfate form that is immediately available for the crop. Slater said it is a “great late-season foliar product” to address sulfur needs during later stages of crop development.

Triad an older product; a plant growth regulator containing the three PGR’s – cytokinin, gibberellic acid, and indole-3-butyric acid – in a balanced ration to promote shoot and root growth.

Your Federated Agronomist can help you sort through all the details and determine which Yield Burst technology products – adjuvants or nutrition – are best for your farm and crop management plans.
