CRUISERMAXX® VIBRANCE® SEED TREATMENT WORKS

Apr 27, 2020

Early planting means cooler soils and since it looks like this is an early spring, seed protection is extra important. “The soil temperatures are not ideal [for April planting] but they will quickly get there,” said Kevin Carlson, Federated’s agronomy sales manager.

A reliable seed treatment such as CruiserMaxx® Vibrance® is a good hedge against early planting bets. CruiserMaxx Vibrance is a complete seed treatment with a three-way fungicide and an insecticide.

“CruiserMaxx Vibrance is an excellent seed treatment. Federated has been using it for years,” said Carlson. It can help improve stand counts and promote better root growth to help plants find nutrients. Plus, it’s a very cost-effective way to protect seed from issues that can arise throughout the growing season. And, Carlson said, “It works.”

For customers who have problematic soybean cyst nematode issues in their fields – which can lead to sudden death in soybeans – Federated recommends Clariva™ Complete (i.e., CruiserMaxx Vibrance plus Clariva pn nematicide).

Again, remember: Communicate is the word. Seed treatment requests require 48-hour notice. Contact your Federated Agronomist with any questions or to order seed treatment.

Federated has a state-of-the-art automated KSI seed treating facility in Ogilvie, MN, including bulk storage capacity for 14,000 units of soybeans. Two bulk delivery trucks service Federated customers with seed.
